Hire Alien ("we," "us") provides a platform for businesses ("you," "customer") to design, configure, and deploy AI-powered virtual employees. The platform consists of (a) this website, which handles your account, billing, and identity configuration for each AI employee, and (b) the Hire Alien desktop application, which runs on your own computer or server and performs the actual document processing and AI conversation handling.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You're responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
This is the most important section to understand about how Hire Alien differs from a typical SaaS product: the documents you use to train your AI employee, the API key for whichever AI provider you choose to connect (a local model, OpenAI, or Anthropic), and the actual content of conversations your AI employee has with your customers are processed entirely within the Hire Alien desktop application running on your own hardware. We do not receive, store, or have access to that content. What we do store, on our servers, is limited to: your account information, your AI employee's name/role/ tone configuration, billing records, and anonymous usage counters (message counts and response timing, never message content) used to power your analytics dashboard. See our Privacy Policy for full detail.
Hire Alien is billed per AI employee ("seat"). Your first AI employee is free for your first 30 days from account creation. After that trial period, and for any additional AI employee beyond the first, each seat is billed at the then-current monthly rate shown on our pricing page, charged automatically to your payment method on file via our payment processor (Safepay) until you cancel. You can cancel or remove a seat at any time from your dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and we do not provide prorated refunds for partial months except where required by law.
You agree not to use Hire Alien to: violate any applicable law; harass, defraud, or deceive any person; send unsolicited communications in violation of applicable telemarketing, SMS, or WhatsApp messaging laws; or attempt to circumvent the platform's security, rate limits, or seat-based billing enforcement. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of outbound calling and messaging features (phone calls, WhatsApp) complies with applicable law in your jurisdiction, including but not limited to consent requirements for automated or prerecorded communications (e.g., the U.S. Telephone Consumer Protection Act).
Hire Alien integrates with third-party services you configure yourself, including AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, or a local model of your choosing), payment processing (Safepay), and telephony/messaging (Twilio). Your use of those services is governed by their own respective terms, and we are not responsible for their availability, performance, or data handling practices.
Hire Alien is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. AI-generated responses may be inaccurate; you are responsible for reviewing your AI employee's configured knowledge and monitoring its conversations for accuracy in your specific use case.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hire Alien and its officers, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, arising from your use of the platform, including damages arising from AI-generated content or from third-party services you've connected.
We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms, non-payment, or suspected fraudulent or abusive activity. You may terminate your account at any time from your dashboard.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-product notice before taking effect.
