Data deletion

If you arrived here from Facebook or Instagram with a confirmation code, your request has already been received. Enter the code below to see where it stands.

What gets deleted

When you remove Hire Alien from your Facebook or Instagram settings, or ask for your data to be deleted, we delete the data that belongs to you:

the connection between your Facebook Page, Instagram account or WhatsApp number and this service
the access token we were given, so it can no longer be used
the message conversations that arrived through those channels

What is not ours to delete

The AI and the business documents it reads live on the business owner's own computer, not on our servers. We cannot reach into that computer and we never hold a copy. If a business has your details in their own records, ask them directly — and if you are that business owner, delete the documents from the app's folder on your own machine.

We also keep a record that a deletion request was made and carried out, identified only by the confirmation code and a one-way hash. Keeping the plain identifier of someone who asked to be forgotten would defeat the request, and keeping no record at all would leave us unable to answer this page.

Asking without a code

Email our support address from the address connected to your account, or remove the app in your Facebook or Instagram settings, which starts the same process automatically.
